Look at all the trouble it's caused. Broken families, STD epidemics,disrespect, sex on every other channel in the middle of the daytime, as if porn wasn't enough for people...and it's getting SO old. It's amazing how uptight people are against smoking and there's a friggin service announcement every other commercial against it. Ok, we finally realized smoking is bad, so what about promiscuity? Promiscuity has caused way more damage to our society than smoking ever has and directly or indirectly hurts people. It may be a free country, but it's also a free country for people who want to live clean and safe, and promiscuous people which there are far too many of these days decrease the safety of our living by indirectly hurting the rest of us.

I agree. Promiscuity has led to the welfare state, more disease spread around, and people who will make any excuse not to stick to a relationship and actually bother to communicate with each other. Good thingthere are STDs that will cause many of them to become sterile at some point.
Seriously, why do we pay taxes so that trailer park mentality types can have six kids from four different fathers, teach them the same ignorant values, and becaome leeches off the system?
Nobody's saying not to have sex, but wrapping it up, educating yourself in life, and taking birth control are all good starts.

You are my guiding light and inspiration. I'm going to invent a time machine so you can go back to live in the Victorian Era where you will be comfortable and safe.
Honestly, the sexual problems we have now are because of the sexual repression in this country. If we could free ourselves from the fundie hive mind, we would see that sex is good and wonderful, not something to be ashamed of. Society nowadays is simply experiencing the fallout of sexual ideas like yours. If we had education about contraception instead of naive abstinence courses, we would have a lot less trouble with STD's and unwanted pregnancies.
Sex education would have no effect on broken families and disrespect because those have nothing to do with sex. The way you talk about sex says much more about your personal issues than society's.
