I believe the word you are looking for is "fattening."

Depends on what you order. I eat a high-fat diet (80% fat, 20% protein), so I love fatty meats. I don't eat any carbs, just animal products. Next time you are there, ask them for a sheet explaining the nutrition information of their selections. That should help you choose what you want.

Home cooked fresh meals are the best. White meat chicken and turkey. Once a month red meat. Low fat or skim cheese and milk. No Pop or Chips. Never go back for seconds and all fast foods and restraints should only be ate for a special occasion.

Out of all the fast food Subway has the best. But if you stop and think about the freshness of the meat, cheese, bread, and vegetables. Its not that great. The bins they stay in don't keep them at a cool enough temperature. Healthy yes if you order right. Good for you....? Hope you don't get sick.

Depends on what you order. They mark really clearly on their menus which ones are not calorie landmines. I'm actually fond of Subway because the one on 4th Ave S in Seattle knows what "EXTRA VEGGIES" means.

Veggie subs are a nifty option. If you go totally bare bones (wheat bread, veggies, no cheese or condiments), you can get a 6 incher for 310 calories. Since I want cheese (pepper jack), I usually wind up with about 360 calories. Plus, all those veggies fill you up without adding calories. If you're like me, adding hot peppers kicks things up a little, bringing out the subtler flavors of veggies by contrast.

However, the tuna subs and the Krab sub? Lots of mayo, so avoid those landlines. They're still kinder to your waist than a Big Mac, though.

Well, I eat there alot, and I still haven't gained any weight, if anything, I've lost weight. I just eat there because it's a good place to chow down and you get full from one sub! :)

But to answer your question, I believe it depends on what you put on your sub. If you like alot of dressings, or alot of fatty meats, then it might be. But at the same time, if you have the equal amount of vegtables as you do "fatty" substances, then you should be fine, because it evens out. Also, to help you lose the "fat" from the food (or oil) drink warm or hot water because it will instantly burn the fat away. My chinese friends told me to do that, and it works, especially after something like a burger.

Also drink some coca-cola with your meal if you are having alot of dressings, or fatty meats or something spicy. It releases some gasses in your stomach that help you digest your food better (my doctor told me that - but he said "make sure you don't do this everyday or it will become unhealthy).

So I hope this helps you. Everyone has different tastes, so I tried to give variety in my answer from personal experience and what doctors told me. :)

Well, the nutrition facts are usually for a six inch on plain bread with no olives, cheese or dressing. Its also based on putting the EXACT number of suggested veggies. Which is six pieces of each. So if you get more than that, than calories go up. Same with the meat and cheese and bacon.
So add cheese bread, on which they pile cheese and then bake. Add cheese and dressing and olives. Add a few more slices of meat or cheese or bacon...ta-da fat.

Example: A six inch chicken teriaki (on the under 6 grams of fat menu, lol) has 370 calories. Now make that a footlong if your hungry and in one sitting you have 740 calories. And thats just a sandwich. Add a coke: 260 calories per 20 ounces. Your up to 1000 calories for a sandwich and a coke. 2440 grams of sodium in that sandwich, don't know about the drink.
If you are looking at a nutrition menu, find the small print that says "these values are based off a six inch" then double all of it.

No, Subway has the healthy meats and proper vegetables for you to choose from to keep the diet you need. Now they do have some foods that can be fattening, but it is not a large variety. Other fast food places have mainly fattening foods, although they do have healthy foods too! These other fast food places (if you notice) do not prepare the food in front of you. Subway does!

The fattening ones include the meatball marinara and the cold cut combo.. also the spicy italian, among others. The southwest sauce is jsut like mayonnaise and the ranch is, well, ranch, so that is fattening by itself. Sometimes you get a LOT of cheese on the chicken bacon ranch, so that can be really fattening. If by "fattening" you mean full of fat.

If you order 6 inch combo, no matter what you order, unless you put extra mayo and 10 dressing with double meat or something like that, you'l be in an average amount of fat

in case you ask for it, they are going to normally provide you a nutritional tips pamphlet. most of the concepts at subway are not undesirable, however the meatball and pizza subs are terrible! i think of you will certainly be greater efficient off with a huge Mac! to respond to your different question, fat helps nerve cells to communicate, and likewise keeps your hair from drying out.
