Are you going to look back and recall the harmful things that you said about someone. Knowing full well that someone doesen't know you.
Or thinking ill of the world and always being angry, angry about politics.
We have become a nation that has turned into a bunch of angry people that always have the need to argue to be right. Nevermind about the other person's views - just too concerned about getting your message across.

I don't think I'll be angry about politics, but this is coming from me, a 16-year old, not old enough to vote. Maybe eventually I will care, but I don't think it's likely that will happen to me on my death bed.
I think that on my death bed I will worry about every single time I said someone mean to someone I love very much, and regret it an awful lot. I will hope that whomever I said that to would not remember it.
I'm sure I will also think about all of the good times I've had with friends and family--hoping that those people will not take their lives for granted. If I were on my death bed already, I definitely would be saying that I took my life for granted.
This reminds me of a quote that I love:
"People say life is short, but it's the longest thing anyone every does."

That's my motto.
You only get one shot at life, there is no "dress rehearsal", and I'm not going to waste any of my living days wondering what I'll be regretting in my dying days. Regret is a waste of time. You do what you do, you say what you say, and you can't take any of it back. Everyone does their best to make their life the most comfortable, livable, enjoyable existence, and then we all die.

my bible teacher told me when you are on your death bed you block everything out except for the things you regret, good things people have said to you, and people the you love the most.
another thing is when you die you do not go to heaven. your soul goes back though and the dead know nothing. you will go to heaven if you have chosen Christ as your Savior and when He comes again.
