Fushigi Yuugi (really good mixes romance, drama, and comedy well)
Peach Girl ( girl divided between 2 guys)
Hana Yori Dango (older anime but still good, and has a live action Japanese drama that is reaaallly good)
Angel Sanctuary (short unfortunatly but was good)
NANA (story of 2 women, with the same name, and guys they love, plus music )
Full moon wo Sagashite (girl terminally ill trying to reach her dreams to become a singer to meet the boy she was in love with that moved away)
D.N. Angel (thief/detectiveish with some romance)
Escaflowne (girl goes to another world, falls in love)
