No, I would not want my husband saying those things to anyone other than me. When he says those things to you just laugh it off and tell him "save those compliments for your wife." He'll get the hint.

Ya that's a little odd. Why don't you just tell him what you stated here. "I don't think I'd like my man to hug and tell another women what your telling me". See what he says. If your that good a Friends you should be able to talk about situations like these.
You know if your feeling uncomfortable it's because it ISN'T RIGHT in the first place. So just tell him how you feel.

I can tell you that 99 % of men are dogs when it comes to being friends with members of the opposite sex. There is always a thought in the back of their mind "what if.."
Just go thru the questions asked on this forum. See how many end up in bed or confessing their love for their "Friend".
Your "friend" will end up on your doorstep one night telling you he can't live without you. To hell with his wife,
Wait and see.

Maybe try backing off a little. Maybe he got the wrong message from you, and is trying to show that same affection back to you. He may be consfused about his relationship with you as well, so if you are comfortable with talking to him about it then maybe you should. The key note about that would be telling him how important you friendship to him is.

No I would not want my husband to speak to another woman that way. Your friend is behaving inappropriately. Tell him you are uncomfortable with it and to please stop. Honestly pull back from the friendship a little.

Does he hug and tell his wife that she is beautiful or does he just reserve that for you? It depends on your relationship to his wife. But you are good friends and his gesture is truly sweet. I can understand that he might be sending out mixed signals, but I would be cool and let it go.

If he says that loud enough for others to hear...blow it off. Otherwise, if he tries to do it descreetly for only your ears....he's crossed the line! Just put your elbows/forearms in front of your chests during the hug-greeting so you let him know he's gotta get back over that line, eh?!

I would set the record straight with him and explain to him he is married and you are not interested. He thinks you are a easy piece and you need to clear up the situation now.

You need to let him know that he is going too far. Remind him that he is married. You may have to end this friendship if he continues to be flirtatious.
