I read a lot of horror, and King is one of my favorite writers. I haven't read all of his books, but I've read more than half of those you have listed here.

"The Stand" is one of my favorite books of all time. The characters seem so real, the plot well developed. It has a lot of heart packed into an amazing story. It is often considered the best of King's work.

"Cell" was one that I've heard many people say they did not like. I, however liked it very much. It was sufficently creepy enough, and kept me turning the pages until the wee hours of the morining. Plus, I'm a big George A. Romero fan, and it kinda has the feel of one of his "Dead" movies.

"'Salem's Lot" is one of the best vampire stories I've read. Good and scary; what any horror fan loves to dive into.

I loved "The Dark Tower" series. I didn't start on it until years after the first book was published, so I didn't have to suffer through 12 years waiting for it to be finished. I know a lot of people were disappointed with the ending (and I'll admit that my first reaction wasn't a favorable one), but after I thought about it for a while, I think it ended perfectly.

"Eyes of the Dragon" was okay, I guess, but I doubt I'll ever make time to read it again.

I did not like "The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon." It just wasn't my cup of tea, so to speak; not scary enough.

"Carrie" was really good. Anybody that has ever been a social reject (be it high school or any other setting) can relate to her problems, and I'm sure more than a few have wished for her powers in order to exact some revenge.

"Cujo" was a decent story, too. Not in my top ten of King's work, but a good read, nonetheless.

"Desperation" is in my top ten. I think he put a lot of time into that one. Suspensful from beginning to end, chocked with stuff that makes your skin crawl, unexpected twists...it's one I plan to read again.

"Pet Semetary" is still one of the creepiest, most disturbing books I've ever read. Maybe it's the whole evil-little-kid thing that gets me, but the way he describes how Church stumbles around with a lack of feline grace gave me a real good fell of what was inherently wrong with planting a body in the old indian burial ground. It's one of the few books that has ever made me shiver while reading it.

Some other really good books by King are "Needful Things," "The Dead Zone," "The Talisman" & "Black House" with Peter Straub, "The Tommyknockers," "It," and his short story collections "Skeleton Crew," "Everything's Eventual," "Nightmares & Dreamscapes," and "Night Shift."

Hope that helps.

The Shining was really scary, The Stand, my favorite, Pet Cemetary, frightening, you forgot IT, creepy, the Green Mile, excellent again.
Cell? Generic. I read it a week ago. Way weak for the master , for anyone else it would have been good. Still, it was like he wrote a computer program to write books in his style. A really weak zombie story. Compared to 28 days later, it doesn't even hold a candle. I think he is fading.
Still one of the all time greatest in my opinion.

I've learn commonly something that relates to The Dark Tower sequence, which is almost all of his paintings. Especially It and The Stand. I have a truly love-hate courting with King, despite the fact that. I consider he is a fine storyteller, and fine creator however his form generally is a little excessive.

Misery is one of my favorites. The Shining was creepy and very well written. Carrie has alot of aspects that happen in real life and I think alot of people could relate with the characters. Christine was ok but I didn't really enjoy it. Firestarter is my favorite out of all of them. Pet Sematery is very good and I think it's somewhat scary.
