I already have a gorgeous little boy and am pregnant again hoping for a girl. Everyone (including strangers on the street) say I am having another boy from the way I am carrying (straight out but quite pointy). Has anyone carried this way and had a girl?

I had a little boy and I was high, out, and round.
Everyone I came across said I was carrying a girl... sure did fool them! :-D

Well, I don't know that it's necessarily predictable, but everyone I ran into said I was having a boy, and I did.
My friends who carried like they had a basketball strapped to their belly with NO indication from behind mostly had girls, but the only FOR SURE way to know is to have an amniocentesis. I had one, because I was older (39 a month after my son was born) and I was concerned about birth defects, but I chose not to find out the sex of my child until birth.
Some say that if you carry high it's a girl, and if you carry low it's a boy.

I'm carrying straight out in front and I'm having a girl. I carried the same way with my boy.

My sister in law is having a girl and she is carrying straight out. I am having a boy and I am carrying out to my sides.

I gained no weight during me pregnancy, except boobs and belly, everyone said it would be a boy and it was. My friends that have had boys carried the same way. For girls, you'd tend to gain more weight everywhere, swell up more, and be more fatigued than with a boy.

Yes, I was like that wiht my daughter. I am pregnant again and I am having a boy and carying the same.
I have this artical that tells you according to your age and the month you fell pregnant in what you are having and so far it hasn't let me down. It has been pretty acurate with everybody I have tried it on. If you can mybe leave additional details and tell me how old you are and in which month you concieved, I will let you know to. you can im me if you want to

my beautiful little DAUGHTER was the same way. "they" say if it looks like you put a basketball under your shirt, it's a boy. if you carry all around it's a girl.....i say there crazy! i carried all in front, just belly, like a basketball....to show for it i have a beautiful 4 1/2 year old little GIRL. good luck, i hope you were blessed enough to get the girl you desire!

Straight out and up high is usually, (i said USUALLY, NOT ALWAYS) a sign that you are having a boy. Wide and more round, and not sticking out as far is often times a sign of a girl. Again, this is not always the case, but it is an old wive's tale.

I did everyone told me I`d have a boy,carried her like a torpedo but she was a beautiful GIRL and I carried my son like a girl!!
