Well that really depends on the mall and what stores the mall has. Not all malls carry the same items or have the same stores. But your best bet would be to try out a movie store (like suncoast etc) or a bookstore (some malls have small bookstores like walden books) sometimes they carry Animerica, Shojo Beat, Shonen Jump, Newtype, Anime Insider. There are all common anime magazines that can sometimes be found in malls.

I was able to find Anime Insider at my local grocery store...the bookstore in our mall stopped carrying Newtype, though they still have Shounen Jump and Shoujo Beat...neither of which I read....I want my Newtype back...
