Yes, there certainly is! If the President (or any other government official) commits a high crime, the House of Representatives may censure, or file a disciplinary suit, against him or her. The Senate then takes a vote on it; if the majority of the senators present agree that the person in consideration deserves punishment, then they will be removed from office and the next in command will take their place.

Only through impeachment & there are very, very strict guidelines to what is an impeachable offense. They are strict to stop the opposing party from trying to use their "power" to unseat the president. Only 2 presidents have ever been impeached - Andrew Johnson & Bill Clinton. (Nixon resigned)
