My iPod nano is not even 2 weeks old, yet I have a dead pixel and a small, minuscule hole on the aluminum body (which were there when I opened it). So I filed for a repair, and they sent me a box to mail it to them. However, I am worried that they will give me a refurbished 4gb blue iPod Nano. Do you think that they will? Because mine right now would be better because it is in better condition than refurbished ones. Or will they send me a new one?

A refurbished iPod is just like the new ones just as long as you get it from apple. They just had something wrong with them kind of like whats wrong with your. Apple fixes them and they are like new. They put the refurbished one through more test to make sure they are perfect then the non-refurbished ones. If I were you I would send it back and get a another one from them.

If it is a factory defect apple will either send you a full refund or give you a new one, I know it from experience because mine came with a defective battery and then they send me a new one and it had no defects.

i would find out first of all what they are going to send you back....if its only 2 weeks old then i think they should have to give you a brand new one because it sounds like the problems your having with it are their fault!
