I have had insomnia and I really need something to relax me besides medicine and reading. Any ideas?

I like to relax in the bathtub I do that alot it relaxes my muscles it feels great

I like to do crafts, like make gifts for friends.
Even bake some cookies for the kids.
Try a hobby that you really like, one that will keep your mind off of things. It may help you to sleep when the mind is relaxed.
I even watch movies at night when I can't sleep, older movies usually relax me. Like the black and white ones.

have a day at the spa if you can. it is so worth it!!! my husband gave me a one hour massage for my birthday! i cant wait to use it!! you could get a massage, pedicure and facial are my favorites. manicures are tedious and getting your hair done is time consuming. if you do the above things come home order out for food, take a bath and then read yourself to sleep.

i hope you are able to do that...i dont know who has time for all that these days but good luck!
