I don't know if I would go so far as to call it a split personality but there are deffinately sides to everyone. The cool side they show off in public, the sensitive side they save for when they are alone, the goofy side they show their closest friends, etc.

Everyone has a left and right brain. The left is everything negative, at least the way we use it. And the right brain is all positive, even if there are those who disgree, those guys disagree on everything. As a matter of fact that's the messed up left brain at work, you know, the one that messed the whole world up. Sometimes we lean one way or the other, left, right. Also humans are said to be the only animal that sets aside a portion of the brain to observe itself. Thinking in that portion of the brain is human. It tends to be obective, not subject to all our crazy thoughts and feelings. It's the personality to be in.
Something I hate, for some reason, is the way people keep saying that schizophrenia is split personality. Split personality is something entirely different from schizophenia.
We all have different postions we take with different situations, your personality is the one you conscider home and has most of your reality in it. Split personality is getting stuck in one of them and probably not seeing the other. Our right and left brain are like that. The right brain is usually right and can see the left brain better than the left brain can see the right. They say that men are left brain leaning and left behind, while women are sometimes right brain and more often right. Men say that they don't understand what women want. Women don't feel so in the dark. They seem to think that they know what men want. Hmm, they could be right, I don't know, I'm a man and my favorite saying, no actually, I think men's favorite saying is, "What is truth," The truth is that they're idiots. Some of them. All. Some. Excuse me I'll be right back.

I think only a DEAD person can have single personality. Any LIVING person has many personalities. The number may vary from only a few to many. These many personalities help a person to cope with different situations and encounters in the life.

every one changes his attitude/outlook many times during the day according the circumstances, in split second u change your temper from cool to hard/sensitive, depending on the challenges u face , in office, on road, in social meetings, with friends, with neighbour, with wife and with children, in church and so on. there is nothing to worry unless u dont behave properly even in given appropriate circumstances

I'm thinking you might "have" what Marshall Mathers (Eminem) said he has - it is merely an alter-ego of yourself. Go rent the movie Me, Myself, and Irene. It's all about the alter ego baby! Slim Shady!

I don't think you're alone at all. Most people, if not all, feel differently about people, places and things at different times. This can just be moodiness, or can sometimes be attributed to stress.

I think most people do...BUT I DON'T! YOU KNOW *I'M* THE DOMINANT PERSONALITY! Why do you always have to be so rude? I'm only trying to make a point...BECAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT! I'M SICK OF HEARING YOUR WHINY COMMENTS ALL THE TIME! *sigh* Take it as you will.
