Ideas are good, but what makes a story truly great is its characters. Figure out who they are, what they want, what gets in their way, what their secrets are that no one would suspect. If 2 characters are beautiful, make them beautiful in different ways. If 2 characters are treacherous, make them treacherous in different ways. Every villain should be noble at least once, every hero should, at least once, be an absolute cad. Good people should get in each other's way for reasons that seem to make perfect sense to them. Everything should have a reason, but it shouldn't always be what you'd expect. When you have such intriguing characters that even you wonder what they'll do next, then it will be difficult for you to STOP writing your novel.

Do you write on a computer? If so make a writing file and inside start a file for each writing idea. Otherwise, keep a notebook and get you a set of pens with a variety of colored inks, or markers. When you have an idea for something use a colored pen specifically for that idea/story and write it down. Keep a notepad(pocket size) and a pen, with you wherever you go. If you have an idea you can write it down as you have time. I, too, have a lot of ideas for stories and commonly work on several at the same time on the computer. One bit of advice, however, if you are using a computer, make a back up disk(floppy, or cd). I had three stories going the end of last year and my computer went nuts and before I could correct the problem myself I wound up in the hospital with a blood clot and my brother did a restore on my computer and didn't make a restore point and it restored my computer back to when I'd first bought it and everything is gone. I had to start all over. So, back up everything you have on your computer, whatever you don't want to loose, and don't go through the pain of loosing a lot of hard work. Good luck and I'll be looking foreword to seeing you in print. Keep us posted.

Write your way (or ways) all the way through each idea. Don't try to string them together as a book yet. Keep writing and rewriting. You may find connections enough to attempt a book. You may find your ideas will do better a short stories. You may discard some ideas for now, but save them for possible later use.
There are number of great litle books on how to write a book; read the jackets to see which might click for you.
Enjoy and best of luck!

The first thing I would do is choose a topic that I am most interested in ie; fantasy, mystery, action adventure, military, espionage, etc. Then I would dream up some characters taking the time to bring out their unique styles and qualities and describe each one with enough detail to make them seem real as possible. Then try to come up with an amazing plot and a catchy Title. The rest is dialog and filler. Don't forget to add twists and turns along the way. Happy writing.

Just pick the idea out of all of them that you like best. If you don't feel like writing any of them, then just pick an idea about something that you're really interested in, and write about that.
Good luck.

combine all of your ideas..make multiple characters if it does not fit. you can haeve multiple plot lines. and they really dont have te be realated, like you can do a family where one sister is doing something completely opposite than the other sister and the only thing keeping it one book is the fact that there sisters.
i like doing that i like to write. but i always start ofdf with a million ideas then never finish them

My best advice is to write about what you know. I know that probably sounds cliche, but then you won't have to do as much research and you won't sound like a jack@$$ if you write about something you don't know and get it wrong.
