in India reason is restriction on sex among society members.

Unfortunately, rape occurs everywhere. If there is an increase in the numbers, there are a couple of possible causes. One is the increased education for the women is causing the men to feel more powerless, and the other is that the numbers aren't really climbing, but more women are willing to report it.

I moved frm India and I think coz ppl in india are not thought abt stuff properly like that and the whole no sex before marriage thing puts pressure on guys, still thats no excuse to violate a gurl

It will be true for any where.
It is not libido. It is social structure where women is considered a commodity or thing ti be used for fun. That is why rape. It is not for sexual pleasure but mental pleasure. Both men and women may have desires. men may also wear sexy dresses, why crime are almost always against women? Reason is we take them as consumables. Completely disregarding their feeling as human being , and thinking the as dispensable object.

Indian population is highly hypocratic and religious. They do not know how to handle glamour and sexy looks. If a girl smiles in a friendly manner, most of these guys think she is inviting. Abscence of proper public security gives a free hand to ciminals. The police is highly corrupt and uncivilised.

Men in india are extremely disrespectful of personal space. They literally have no real respect for women, and only view them as objects to procreate with. Alot of christian missionaries are sexually harassed in india, and it has nothing to do with what is being worn. They simply have no respect.

Rape or for that matter all consensual heterosexual sex unless performed under the STRICTEST of boundaries is a disgrace!
I am a virgin and I'll tell you why. Would a REAL man have sex with a woman without first becoming one with her mentally? That's right, in order to have sex that is not rape you must SUBMIT to your female lover completely.
Not in a grovelling servile like way mind you. In a MANLY way.
Until I find that special person I owe it to myself and my male purity to keep myself chaste. When I do find my soulmate she will appreciate it all the more.
