Terrorists. Liberals are only a problem insomuch as they refuse to fight against them

2007-01-10 16:19:39 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 5 4

Honestly, right now I'm more afraid of our "conservative" brethren who capitulate to liberals at home and refuse to mandate and support full defense against terrorists abroad, no matter how politically incorrect the tactics may need to be.

I'm more concerned that hopeful rhetoric about cutting the Department of Education devolved into massive increases in education spending. I'm concerned that, not only did Social Security reform go nowhere, but at no time was a long-term phase-out of the program ever on the table. I'm concerned about the role of the Department of Homeland Security if another Janet Reno ever comes to power.

I'm also concerned that, six months after President Bush talked tough to the terrorist-supporting, terminally corrupt U.N. and led a coalition of the willing into Iraq to overthrow a merciless dictator, we were back at the U.N. doorstep asking for assistance. I'm concerned that, after all the hype of a military campaign of "shock an awe", our troops weren't even allowed to return fire against Islamic terrorists hunkered down in mosques. I'm concerned that we've put up no significant military, diplomatic, or even rhetorical front against Syria, Iran, and the other parties that are feeding the Islamofacist insurgency in Iraq.

The liberals will always work to subvert America by means of policy, and the terrorists will always work to destroy America by means of fear and intimidation. These factors are constant. Our only defense is a united, competent, principled conservative front that upholds the rights of American citizens and provides full support and backing of the American troops who are overseas defending our ability to live, govern and worship freely. Right now, my greatest fear is that our front, if not our spirit, has been broken.

You should listen to Gordon Smith from Oregon, a Republican. A full 8 out of 10 Americans say "Iraq was a mistake from the start". You are the minority. Smith speaks for the majority. Liberals should be the least of your worries now, since Congress will start the investigations of the Bush crimes next week. The first investigation will be why the CIA and FBI mislead the President and Congress.

What's funny is that this question is for Conservatives and the liberals that can't respect your intentions must give us their advice..............we, conservatives are more afraid of terrorists but we should be more afraid of liberals for liberals are what makes terrorism possible.

You must remember that even though it's popular in America to label people and treat politics like it's some high school football team rivalry, we are all Americans. The sooner we quit listening to the extreme 10% on BOTH sides and start listening to the 80% of us in the middle, the quicker we can restore some sense of reason in our once great country.

President Nixon's silent majority hasn't been represented in our country for almost forty years. We're now reduced to slogan spewing morons. America needs another working class president, these rich kids (both parties) ain't cutting the mustard.
