This is terribly embrassing but I need help and I am embarassed to ask the gyno. I trim my pubic hair like many women do, but do not shave because of itching. About once every week or two I get a tiny inevitably gets stuck in my clioris and it hurts like hell and feels like an electrical shock when my underwear rubs up against it. OUCH! Does anyone else have had this happen? If so what did you do to prevent or stop it!

Its stray hairs falling in there. Not bristles.

*** i'm sorry but i'm missin somethin here... is it the bristles that are pokin ya there? or is it loose hairs that are finding their way there? i'm guessin u mean it's the bristles...in that case try trimming a little less right there. don't make them quite so short and they won't be quite so sharp.

From an earlier question of yours, I find that you are a married woman who is sometime too tired to respond to your husband's sex demand.
It is very right that you dont shave or wax your pubic hair and only trim it. Pubic hair has definite uses even if it is the current trend to shave it or wax it off.
You can ask your husband to check if there is any growth of hair close to the clitoris, which you are not able to see when your trim your hair. If there is any, you can take his help to get it snipped carefully and see if your problem gets any better.
It is also possible that you wear underwear made of synthetic material which sometimes generates static electricity when it rubs against your body. Try wearing good cotton underwear for a change.
Could there be a small growth or boil near your clitoris area which you cannot see/feel? Your husband can help you with this search; if necessary use a magnifying glass.
I hope this helps.

I have had this problem ever since I first developed pubic hair. And honestly it happens at lest 3 times a month and every time it happens I just get the hair out and it immediately over. I don't think it grows from there. And idea how to stop it? If anyone has visited a doctor about this I would love to know what they said.

If you shave use deodorant on there and it will do wonders, believe me. Right after you get out of the bath put it on there. Like under your arms, it keeps the hair from being so stiff and brittle.

Yeah that has happened to me before, and it is SUPER ANNOYING.
Pretty much the only way to prevent this is either to wax or shave, not really another alternative. Actually, you could try wearing a pantiliner, this might catch some hair.

My god. I'm glad I don't have that problem it sounds painfull! You should probably start shaving. It only itches a little when it's growing back. Just keep it shaved!

After you trim the beaver, jump in the shower and wash away the loose hairs. While you're at it, lather it up real good and press down with your fingers and rub in circular motion then up and down. That will ensure any loose hair is going down the drain. Plus you will have fun doing it! Enjoy
