Anyone ACTUALLY been through this? I've done this three times before and I still have 2 1/2 months to prepare. I just feel so worried about going into labor and recognizing labor contractions and everything involved... I have no idea why. I can't tell if it's that I'm scared to have four kids, I love my kids so much and I planned this baby, but now I'm just hoping I can still be a good mom to all four of them!

You're scared because you've done it before and you know what it's like!! Just remember that the birth is the easy part. But, you'll do fine...and with 3 other children, you'll have plenty of little helpers. Hey, you have a lot of practice and practice makes perfect, right? Sure there will be times that you feel overwhelmed, but those times will pass and the good will far outweigh the bad!!

Congratulations on #4 and good luck! You'll do fine giving birth and even better as a mother.

I completely understand. I just found out yesterday that I'm pregnant with my 3rd. I've already started dreading labor. I always have a really difficult painful time. All these moms that say it's not so bad and they never even screamed, make me so jealous. Mine were god awful, people could literally hear me screaming on the other side of the hospital. And that was with drugs. And I can't stop thinking about how it's going to change our whole family dynamic. This is the 1st one I've planned, but I still feel so unprepared. I know it's useless to say this, but don't worry, we all worry. Yes, baby's are beautiful, and they are so worth it in the end, but they are a big change. I know you're a great mom because you are worrying. If you weren't concerned, then I'd worry. :-) Good luck.

Most people would think you have the "been there, done that" attitude. But I can totally understand where you are coming from. I have two and their labor & deliveries were totally different. The more you have them, the more you realize what actually happens and what happens to your body as a result of it. But, I am sure you will be a great Mommy to all of them. Good luck to you! I only have two and I'm running around in twenty different directions, I can't imagine what four would be like!

I know the feeling. I'm pregnant with my second and dreading labor and delivery because I had a very rough labor with my son, and I keep worrying that it will be just as rough this time around. The fear probably stems from knowing all the pain and effort that goes into having a baby.

You are probably scared because you KNOW every thing you have to go through during the birth process and you don't like it. Sometimes being so aware of something can actually scare you.
