Unfortunately, you could ask a great question but because someone disliked you, they and their friends would thumbs down the question and cost you points. They would also thumbs up each other for undeserving questions just for the points.

Great idea, for every thumbs up you get a point. For every 5 thumbs down, you lose a point.
