Does anyone have it and get unwanted mean thoughts about the people they care about? like their friends, parents. I'm really close to my mom so i feel the guiltiest about that. How do i not feel guilty. I need someone to talk to that had or has this.

Everyone has mean thoughts all the time. This does not make you a mean person. Acting on your mean thoughts makes you a mean person.

The truth is that many people even think very drastic thoughts as some point in their life, such as fantasizing about killing their families and so forth. At least, many people I've talked to have done this. It is not a serious manifestation of their desires, but it's the brain playing "what if?" games with itself.

I think that the fact you feel guilty just for your thoughts makes you a very good person indeed. It's not wrong to think mean thoughts. It IS wrong if you are so habitually wrapped up in mean thoughts that you are perpetually in a state of anger, vengeance, or cruelty in your own mind.

The best advice that I can give you is act kindly and charitably towards your mom, and you will find that more kind and charitable feelings will follow as a result. Remember that love is a verb.

You should never feel guilty for a bad thought. Everyone has them. The fact that you don't act on them is something to feel good about. As soon as you feel guilty about having the bad thought, you tend to dwell on it, which has the unwanted effect of making the thought occur more. Just say to yourself, "Ok, I have this bad thought, but I know I will never act on it" That will take the power out of the thought.

You cannot change yesterday or your last thought but you can make better choices and think better thoughts from here on out. Life is a gift, not a guarantee, don't waste it beating yourself up. Guilt is not healthy and surely you know that you are stronger than any ill thoughts that come into your mind. Have a nice day!

I think that everyone, at times, gets disgusted with the people they are closest to. Most don't ever act upon their thoughts, and feel differently in a very short time.

Sometimes yes we do feel that way, its coz of the things that we not agreeable. The best way is like they say give her a big hug, everytime i feel bad or feel sad, or juz being guilty doing something that i knw makes she not happy with me, i juz go to her and give her a very big hug, and she will ask me, do you love me that much, so big?... i answered yes... even tho sometimes i made u feel bad, but watever it is, i do love u so so much. Juz tell her thats the truth u feel inside. Give her a hug, and kiss everytime u feel guilty inside u.
