I am goth and sometimes I am amazed at the men who tell me that they think goths are beautiful. I wouldn't think many would be attracted to us, really, but I am amazed when a hip-hop guy walks up to me and says... wow you are so beautiful... this has happened a couple times and throws me for a loop.

to answer your question: Goths are not about non-conforming, we just like what we like. And it may appear to others that we do look the same but don't you think we think everyone else looks the same? It's a different light from the inside out.

1: goths are a spawn of an early punk culture, but we are not the same.
2: I am very rarely attracted to men who are not goths.

Pray for your self condemning practices... you know nothing about me... I don't think god wants people condemning others like you just have.

Why would you think that we should see it differently?
Every man has his own tastes, and a lot of men are attracted to women that don't "follow the rules" or try to look like some ideal of beauty. A woman that rejects "convential perceptions of beauty" is confident in her own beauty, and that confidence is attractive as well.

I think if done right, a goth look can be very attractive and mysterious. Most of the time though, the look is messy, disorganized and too dark for it's own good. So yeah it can be really hawt, as long as it's done right.
I'd like to add that guys who are attracted to goth girls, still eye big boobed blond woman who look like the gal in the last porno they watched.

Honestly, no. The goth look is very dark and I don't think many people can pull it off. I've seen so many pretty girls turn goth and they do not look attractive. The dark black hair and makeup and the excess piercing and tattoos are distracting to one's own personal beauty.

(sorry, I'm not a guy, but I hope my opinion still counts) Goths, and I'm generalizing here, are beautiful. They stick out, and they have this...aura around them, if you will, that creates a sort of 'awe' factor. They aren't afraid to be who they are, and it's their unconformity that's truly special. I think it takes courage to be goth, strange as that might sound, and that's an attractive quality. I really wish I had the courage to try it.

I personally don't believe that a woman's beauty has anything to do with her social standings and decisions. I think that if a girl is pretty, goth or not, I'm going to think she's pretty, regardless of how she dresses (for the most part).

Totally beautiful. Hey, my daughter was goth (she's deceased now) but when you would see so many young people dressed in dirty jeans that are nine sizes too big, and look like they just fell out of bed, and then you see a goth - wow, these people are dressed to the hilt!! totally gorgeous. beautiful.

I love goth chicks. My friends think I am crazy and don't understand why I would want "a girl like that?" I think the look is really sexy when they right chick pulls it off.

In my personal experience, it was because the girls I was dating at the time were as "cookie cutter" as could be. And there I was and I met a great looking girl with a great personality, intelligent, free minded, etc, etc, and fangs. This was as far from the pattern I had established in the past. So now, as I walk down the street and see some living dead girls coming my way, there is a great feeling of longing for the past from the suit and tie world that I have joined and the girl that changed the way I look at the world.
