I just started the yasmine pill during my period and up to the next packet and I haven’t had my period yet have been having sex while taking the pill. Is this normal could i be pregnant ? please help

i have had a little bleeding before tho inbetween starting the yasmine pill and now...it was due yesterday and late in the afternoon there was a little more blood on toilet paper but nothing has come today

ok don't fret too much. this does happen occassionally when taking birth control. the bc can throw your hormones off, therefore causing delays in your period, or in some cases cause it to be longer. it can take up to 4 months before your periods are completely regular again.
i know this because i went through the same thing. therefore called my gyno and that's what they told me. they suggested waiting a week and taking a pregnancy test. or wait maybe 3 weeks and take it then. but that if it came back i wasn't pregnant then try not to worry about it. it was a side effect of the birth control. and this happens with any birth control you take. it messes with your hormones. but if it comes back that you are pregnant stop taking the yasmine IMMEDIATELY and go to the dr. to comfirm pregnancy.

this can often happen when switching pills. you pharmacist should have told you that you need to take 10 active pills in a row from the new pill before having unprotected sex. If you did not do this, there is a slight chance that you might be pregnant, so get a pregnancy test.

The same thing happened to me when I started Marvelon. I knew I wasn't pregnant so I didn't care, but I don't know how I would have known otherwise. I suggest getting a home pregnancy test. If the results are negative just wait three weeks and see if your next period comes. If it doesn't, it's time to go to the doctor.

i just started yasmin too. and the first month I didnt get it either and now i got like during the middle of the "sugar pills" but check with a doctor if you are unsure.
