Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Being a failure at fitting into the wrong box just means you got the wrong box. Not the wrong life. I've been on anti-depressants for 8 years and I love it. Everything that was always missing from my life is present every moment. Inadequate brain chemistry may feel suicidal, but it has an easy fix. Love and grace, charlie

Well, there is nothing worthing ending your life over... Especially school. Just try your hardest. If you honestly work as hard as you can and get a C then so be it. School is expensive but you have a lifetime to pay your parents back if you so choose. If you are burned out take some time off. I assume you are in college. Hell, I was there 6 years but I did end up with two degrees. And again ending ones life is selfish and cowardly. I think your parents would rather see a bad grade than a dead child.

Please don't be so hard on yourself. School is such a minor thing in this great big world. And no matter what your parents say about how important school is, they would never say that school is more important that YOU! There has to be something good in your life that you can focus on right now. Life is full of ups and downs. You are down now, but think about this: one day you'll be up again. And you will enjoy those good things so much more just because you had a rough time to compare it to. Please continue your journey--aren't you wondering what else is out there? Go find what makes you happy.

And remember, God loves you! I will pray for you.

Honesty is the best answer. Tell your parents the truth. They may be unhappy with your choices but they will forgive you. They may make you be accountable until you prove yourself again, but this is the price you pay. Your parents deserve the respect of the truth, and you deserve to let this burdon go. It is better to face your problems, they will not go away until you learn from your mistakes. This is part of life, these times shall pass and you will feel so much better when you work through this situation. Be a strong person and accept responsibility and honor and respect others, and they will do the same unto you.

tell someone other than a message board...these are signs of depression...which are very treatable. Everyone, and I mean everyone has value....so go directly to someone you trust...
parent, teacher, friend, etc. and tell them what you said here.
Do it, do not pass go, do not collect $200, do not delay. You are not alone, and people do care. I am a pharmacist and there is hope and a way out, 10 yrs. from now, a failing grade or two is not going to matter...but your life will..and you can make a difference in someone else's life also.

Don't take it all so seriously my friend as there are many facets to life yet unexplored. If school stresses you to the point of not wanting to live, then do away with school. Pretty girls, strong drink, and thinking outside the box will guide you on your way from despair. Live and be

Dont be too hard on yourself, those are hard courses and if you pass, you did the job. Studying is a difficult task, space out your study periods and discipline your mind to endure. You can do it.

Please think about what you are saying...and don't end your life! Everyone on this earth is unique and special in their own way! I also agree that you are being too hard on yourself...and causing yourself alot of stress. Please do me this favor...sit back...take a deep breathe...and then ask yourself...why am I doing this? You are a bright and articulate person...and you will succeed in your life...you must believe that...and know that you can succeed.

You can still change. As long as you are living, there is still hope! Go to a church or your campus counseling services.
