That is not a true statement. Many people believe that religious intolerance is wrong. Besides, Identifying something as wrong doesn't remove it from society. Just because racism is wrong doesn't mean that there are no more racists. The KKK is still in operation. We won't get rid of religious intolerance until we all learn to respect each others right to disagree.

Theres a lot of answers to this question. Maybe because everyone feels that in someway/how, their religion is being threatened. Whats the solution to this feeling? Retaliation. It's in all religions. A sensitive topic indeed.

because people can interpret in texts that such a prejudice isn't wrong, and people become very senstive when you challenge their religion so there tends not to be too much of an outcry about this issue, for the record I think that judging people based upon their religion is wrong and shouldn't happen

I guess because those who call Hindus, Buddhists Muslims, Jews, Christians, or any other religion names can claim that the group they hate has a choice when it comest to belonging to the group, as opposed to a member of a race who is born into it.

Because religion is it's own problem created by the religions. They claim to love, but what they love is to fight others who don't believe as they do.

Maybe it is just where I live, but I don't see attacks on religion. I do see racism often. Is "religionism" being overblown by the "liberal media"???

that is a very good question. i think it is. but it's kind of like racism. people know it is wrong, but still choose to ignore the fact and practice it. (lack of respect)...i think
