Cut nerve close to thumb?

between thumb and index- how long for feeling to return to palm sid e of thumb

Could be months, could be never. It all depends on whether the nerve grows back.

If it is numb now, it probably will remain numb, I had surgery to reattach the nerve ending when my son was just under a year old.

He is going to be 21 next month, still is numb.
