i need to know this song. I forgot what the artist or called or dont know any of the songs but i do know that the artist a was once a gang member and made a song that was a great hit back in the day. if anyone can help me out that would be great.

DredPir8 is right (and good screen name too). But I'm writing just to give my husband props -- he knew the answer before I even read the question to him... just from the words "New Zealand One Hit Wonder." He's kind of pathetic that way!
He says I should tell you that OMC stood for Otara Millionaires Club. Otara is a rundown suburb of Auckland, NZ.

The only group I remember from New Zealand is Crowded House. The song is "Something So Strong". Another is "Don't Dream It's Over">
