I heard that Signapore is one of the cleanest cities that if you throw a gum on the floor or something so small you get a ticket?

The nickname for Singapore is "A fine city" because there's a fine for everything. They don't even sell gum there, so it won't get on the floor!
There are other cities that are pretty clean, too. I like Toronto for that reason.

Not the new generation!
Singapore was make clean during the 70's and the govement made it a point that it must create a good image hence the fine when you drop something and ban gums...etc.
The effect of those teaching does not past down to the next generation and these kid today ignore it totally.
Take a look at Orchard road after dark and you will see what I mean.

yes it is. i lived there for a year and a half and the place was great. its really hot there and the shopping malls are huge!
theres orchard road with heaps of malls and shops. the place is great
