In the United States of America, there is no company that is allowed to take out of an employee's paycheck the cost of State Unemployment or the cost of Workman's compensation insurance. Absolutely no where!!! Just check your state's website.

The employer pays the unemployment tax. The rate the employer pays is based on a percentage which is determined by M.E.S.C. . The employer match's the F.I.C.A. and MED.

In Ky, only the employer.
If you paid for it, they wouldn't be able to to deny you benefits, which they can.
