because the molecular structure of the wool when it is still attached to the sheep is that of a living growing organisim. The hair of the wool is attached to the dermis of the body of the sheep where it recieves it's nutrition and is coated with an oil called lanolin. When the wool is shaved from the sheep it's life cycle is ended and thus the property of the wool changes.

That is a good and funny question but my answer is : Maybe they do its just that they keep growing hair and ther wool (shirt's) get longer. So if they shrink the'll just grow back to its normal size

wool shrinks if you wash it in hot water, but if you wash it in cold water it doesn't shrink ... and rain is cold water, that's why the sheep don't shrink

Because wool is specially treated unlike when it is naturally occuring on sheep. Also it GROWS on sheep.
