I'm sorry to say that the weird questions are not just limited to the teens. The way to end this problem is to require a credit card. This not only gives verifiable info on everyone but anyone not old enough or to stupid to manage their own credit will be excluded.

In any group situation, there will be all kinds of people, some are smarter than others and the lazy ones will ask questions (which may or may not be dumb) because they are too lazy to even look up the internet themselves.
Some questions DO seem dumb but are legitimate questions which adults like us can answer and help them out.
Yahoo did not open this just for kids, but for us "older" (or more "mature") population as well LOL. There are things we also want to know and appreciate when people help us with their answers.
And you are using Yahoo!Answers right now, are you not? How do you know that YOUR question might not be seen as DUMB by the younger generation? It works both ways you know.
We don't all know everything as we all can help each other.
And their parents? May be they don't have parents or parents who care enough to help them with question on life. It would be nice if we can help these ones out.
Yeah... take the good with the bad ... and have a laugh.

Where are the parents? They are at the bar. They are at work.
They are out with a boy (or girl) friend; they are away on a trip.
they are anywhere and everywhere except home with their kids.
And do you know what that tells kids? That the bar, work, and other people and places are more important than they are.
We are seeing the effects of what the past 35 years has brought us. Mothers belong at home with their children. Dads belong doing what is necessary to provide for the care and needs of their children. These kids are growing up, with absolutely no guidance, no assistance, nothing. Is it any wonder at all that the world is in the state its in? Really.

Yep, I'm in my 40's and I cannot believe some of the crazy questions. However, I stay in hopes to help a few of them out. I really thought about never returning many times. But then I look at some of the questions and you just know they need some help.
If we can help a few people a day then it is worth it. We all have to start someplace.
God Bless

You seem to be the idiot here, buddy. Yahoo answers is a revolution. It's basically the next generation of search engines. I've used it for months to deliver my knowledge to others and to gain knowledge in return. if you use it to your advantage, you can get some great answers. if you just sit here and read the stupid questions (such as the one you just asked), then of course your going to hate it! Where are your parents I wonder?

Oh, there are more than a few adults on this site that are just as idiotic as the teens and kids.

they are also the ones who report answers that dont caress their fragile ego's.
easy to tell them from the rest though. the limits of the fool are easy to identify.

Eh. I would agree. There are many stupid questions, and just as many stupid answers. There should be an age limit or something.
