Oh yeah! I'm amazed that my fiance puts up with me sometimes! I get so bad sometimes that all I can do is hide in my room. The only problem is that I was diagnosed when I was 15, and I'm only 21 now. I can't have the hysterectomy yet, it would be hazardous to my health. It's hard to deal with too. There is really nothing that you can do about it either. No doctor's have been able to help me, and none of the medications that I've taken has helped either. You just have to find someone that is understanding and won't get upset with the mood swings and pain that this causes you. Good Luck!

Absolutely. Endometriosis is a far-reaching, debilitating illness that affects not just the woman, but those who care for her. The physical effects of living in chronic pain and fatigue, along with hormonal difficulties, coupled with the drastically negative fears, disappointments and other emotional aspects of Endo can wreak havoc on a woman and her partner's relationship. Lack of understanding from those around her (including her doctors) can add insult to injury as well. There are several groups dealing with the many aspects of Endo that might prove beneficial for you, including http://groups.yahoo.com/group/erc, for women with Endo and those who love them, and http://groups.yahoo.com/group/mendomen, a great group just for "Men Who Love Women with Endo." You're not alone.

Yes, I did. The condition creates havoc with your hormones as well as other problems. Talk to your doctor as they can help you with that. I had surgery (complete hysterectomy) and it was like night and day. I feel so much better now (and the relationship is better too as I am not on a roller coaster anymore). Best wishes!
