There are Chinese American Associations in many large cities, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C. You should contact them, ask if they have counselors, or anyone who can talk to you. They can talk to you about your visa status, or just give you advice about your bf.

being apart is hard when you have a serious relationship.
get the maximum out of your stay in US, do what you came to do successfully. true being apart can break your heart. but its not a good reason to give up on everything else.

Find some girlfriends..they will always be there for you...boyfriends won't always be there. Stay positive there will be someone out there for you..you just haven't found him yet. Hang in there...it takes time to mend your heart. I am here if you need a friend.
