Do you find yourselves really tired before and during your period. I found that it has gotten worse since having kids. Other women I know don't seem phased by theirs, but I'm like a zombie.

I find that I, too, feel especially exhausted the first couple days of my period. I have children, too, so it's probably that we're just more exhausted in general!:) You probably need to eat more protein, take a multi-vitamin, or something to replace iron lost during your period. Some "menstrual relief" medicines (like midol or pamprin) contain caffeine to counter this fatigue, so it must not be uncommon.

Yeah since I had my daughter, my cycles are heavier and I am so drained all the way through. This from a person who had the lightest period ever and was never affected by cramps or bloating. Now its unreal! Painful and just yuck. I feel your pain.

Yes. Lethargy is one of the many symptoms of PMS. It's nothing to worry about. Just get plenty of rest, eat healthy and drink plenty of water. As you know, it goes away soon enough.
