The fact that anyone is still saying that Iraq was tied to 9/11 is disturbing at best. Theses ones support Bush because they still believe the lie that everyone knows wasn't true. People are dying partly because some still actually think that. Wow! Bush and Cheney convinced these so intensely, it is almost scary.

According to a response below, apparently the Iraq 9/11 connection is being concealed in a Top Secret document that only Cheney is aware of. This actually makes sense to him and he questions my thought peocess.

Maverick (below) blames Bush Sr for not "liberating" Iraq during the Gulf War. Sir, please understand that invading Iraq would have always been a good thing for Iran, then and now. I do appreciate your at least thinking about other possiblities.

Even Jorge Boosh gave up on that one. I still wanna know why Cheney had to go with Boosh to testify to congress.

Remember, we are not speaking about the brightest bulbs on the tree or the sharpest knives in the drawer. We are talking about those who blindly listen to Bush's propoganda because they are, sadly, too ignorant to recognize it as such. The reason they are still blaming 9/11 for Iraq is the same as why they blame Clinton for Bush's mess - "this is what Mommy & Daddy said and rather than educate ourselves we will be sheep, like in Hitler's army." I am not saying it like a barbarian, of course (i.e. "Bush is right! The Bible is right! The Muslims are all bad! The Christians are all good!"), but I hope it gets the point across.

And "Crikey!" to those insisting Iraq was the most likely source of WMD's. Have you not read the news in three years? Where have they locked you, and is it possible for you to be deprogrammed by a professional?

Maybe you missed it but, we went into Iraq because of 12 years of disregard of a treaty that was signed by Saddam in 1991. I am one that believes that if we had liberated Iraq in 2001 in the Spring that our Airports would have already been in alert status and 9/11 may not have happened. The lesson here is that we should have acted sooner instead of later.

Because these idiots still believe all of the lies Bush has told them about 9-11 and how Iraq was involved with it even though It has been prov en that Iraq Had no ties to 9-11 they are either to ignorant or stubborn or both to believe the truth

No idea and do not care why. They are clearly uninformed on the matter.

If Iraq had nothing to do with Al Qaeda, then why is Al Qaeda blowing people up in Iraq? What happened, did they show up after we went in? This makes no sense.

The main reason why we went into Iraq was not your thesis. It was to enforce the cease fire from the Gulf War.

People don't study the details dude, only the sound bites they get from the 6.00 news and CNN.
Do you honestly think most Americans have access to real information and go behind the scenes to see what is truly going on?

Never blamed 9/11 on Iraq myself. The only time I've heard that is from someone like you blaming us for believing it. I realize that some are easily led about by those in power, and I think you are a prime example of what happens when you are not intelligent enough to discern truth from fiction. Thanks

I have never heard that 9/11 was because of Iraq.

i support Bush and i don't think Iraq and 9/11 are linked directly...whether you or i like it or not Islamic terrorist had declare war on America a long time ago...Iraq didn't cause 9/11 but they would be the mostly like source of materials and such for the another 9/11 if we didn't stop them...you know...like we are trying to stop Iran and north Korea politically...and might i say dialog goes well with dictators doesn't it...

All this Bush bashing is getting out of hand. It's petty and juvenile. If the war isn't going the way you think it should be then go over there and do your part to speed it along. Until then keep it to yourself. The rest of us are sick of it.

i wasn't for the war because i believed that Iraq had anything to do with 9/11. i was for the war because i could see what a mad man saddam was and i could see that if he got his hands on a nuke, the terrorists could too.

and oh yeah- saddam used to pay the families of suicide bombers who set themselves off in Israel. that isn't the act of a "benign" agent.
