APA format is a way to give credit for material you are quoting. This is a direct quote and should be in quotation marks. At the end of the sentence (but before the period), in parenthesis put the last name of the author, date of publication, page number [p.25].

Then, in your Bibliography:

Last name of Author, Initial. Title of Book, underlined, "Title of Article", Publisher, Date of Publication.

Be sure to start your bibliography notation flush left margin and indent wrap around lines 5 spaces.

If you use more than one publication by the same author, then in the body of your text you MUST put the date of the publication. If you only have ONE publication by this author, in the body of your paper you can leave the date off and just use the last name and page numbers.

Your bibliography (references) should be alphabetized by last name of author and in reverse chronological order if using more than one publication per author.

If this is the paragraphy you wish to use, Underline One Hell Is Not Enough, Jeffery Sheller says "In Islam, hell is a ...... layers of hell" (Sheller, date if necessary, page number).

Hope this helps.
