Everytime I do a Yahoo or Google search for free stock photos I get sites that turn up ROYALTY FREE stock photos. Most of these sites require you to purchase their photos. I am looking for a comprehensive sites with photos, vector images etc where I can download an image for free. Any ideas?

You could always try google image search for the stock photo you're looking for.

Photoshop CS2 offers the Adobe Bridge which has free stock photos in it, but you need to obtain a copy of CS2 first.

@vsfed: What? You're incredibly mistaken. There are so many sites from real people (designers mostly) that know this plight.

Here's a totally free stock photo and texture site for ya:
http://paulstocktextures.tumblr.com/
(site runs on ad revenue, so no cost, just share the site if you feel like it)

STATS:
-fee/trial period: NO
-need to leave attribution; NO
-commercial AND private use: YES
-search bar and tags: YES

Just try google image search or yahoo image search.

You can find many public domain photos to use.

There is a software that can help you bulk download photos.
