Do you advise pc video games or the internet? Media participant? I permit my 2 year previous watch the colours whilst i'm taking part in music, so as that's "pc use" in some vogue. If for video games, probable around 4 or so, with supervision and constrained use (no greater effective than a million hour/day). As for the internet, i might say 7 or 8 - with supervision of direction. yet i think of they start them on computers at college, so i assume i might bypass with on each and every occasion that starts...

I think any age is ok if they are really young supervision is recommended they are normally happy to sit and play games on a program you set up for them , or if they are teens regular checks to see what they are doing would be a good idea

Well, I started using the internet when I was 4... Yes, seriously. Don't be a crappy parent by preventing him to use the internet. That's just plain stupid. Just let your child use it now if he is already 6 or 7.

i think at 9 or 10 if they have been properly trained they can be turned loose with it.. it doesnt take long, kids pick it up quick ... but if the parents dont know jack about computers or the net that just throws a wrench in the whole works now doesnt it ...

It depends on the intellectual the child has and the development the child has attained to be able to differentiate from what is really bad and what is really acceptable. Also you need to have trust in him and also keep three eyes on he/she.
Good luck.

7 or 8 years of age is sufficient.

Do not withhold your child from the cyber world because you fear for their security. Just block sites or genres of sites you don't want them visiting such as chat rooms, pornographic sites, etc.

As soon as they can manage the mouse - provided you have set high security and protected it with a password.

Too many of our kids today are becoming computer zombies. Balance the computer time with playgrounds, parks, etc.
