Mine were terrible for the first part. My friends from earlier years all splintered off into new groups and I was left to try and make new ones. I thought I had succeeded until I heard what these people were saying behind my back. They even started up an I hate ... club which they posted in the student notices under the initials of each word. I had done nothing wrong and spent many lunch times hiding in the toilets as I had no friends to believe in. Later, I rejoined a friend from earlier and was welcomed into her 'group' with open arms. Just luckily turned out that they were the cool kids and I gained a lot of confidence from that. Definitely not the best time of my life though. Adolescence is filled with so much self doubt and it sucks. Others thrive.

My high school years were great I wouldn't say they were the best of my life, because I had alot of family problems that I was dealing with, but when it comes to discussing friends and schooltimes I had some great ones. My favorite part of the day was the morning bus ride, I went to a private school so there were only eight kids in the whole school my high school years and we had some of the best times. Wish I could go back sometimes!!!

They were not the best years of my life. In fact, they were filled with stress, anger, confusion, and ridicule. I got picked on for not being white, for being fat, for having glasses, for being middle class, etc. etc. They were the same kids that picked on my in elementary school for the same crap. Plus, I hated the learning environment. I didn't learn a damn thing in high school.

College on the other hand . . . . :D

My 10 year reunion just passed, and I didn't go. From what I hear, it was a crock, and I know I made the right decision.

Yes because life was more simple, even though we thought everything was such a big deal. My high school problems appear minor to me now. And of course I like to remember the positives and miss the small high school I went to and the small community of students, friends, etc. I miss playing high school sports and going on trips like science trip, history tour of New England, etc.

They are by far the best years of my life. Life seems so carefree then, I didnt have to work, pay bills, dont have to worry about changing boyfriends, lying to my parents became an art and they believed it. I did what I would not dream of doing now. I am glad to have had them as they will never be repeated.

It consisted of sitting in the corner being a "freak"- I am sure I didn't care but none-the-less.

I let a rat loose in the cafeteria, that was fun.
I poked myself too many times during bloodtyping in biology and started licking the blood up as it ran down my arm.
I nabbed some lamb eyeballs from my human anatomy class and put them in a friend's fridge at home.

Some interestingly amusing things but I will stop :)

My overall sucked. It made me realize that people have no common sense at all and I need to grow up before I ruin my life. Most of the people I knew either are in jail, having problems raising their child or children, or doing nothing except for drugs and drinking alcohol.

I'm only two years into college, but looking back, it wasn't as bad as it seemed back then. Sometimes I wish that I could go back - such an innocent time in my life. But of course, I'll probably be saying that about college in 10 years.

Great for me! Growing up in an Air Force family I had always gone to pretty big schools. Then in the middle of 9th grade my dad retired and we moved to podunk arkansas! 64 kids in my class and I was able to meet everyone! No drugs, a lot of gossip and drama kings and queens, but all in all it was superior to my other school experiences!
