i'm pretty sure i'm not pregnant. at least i shouldn't be. if i am, it's too soon for a test to come out positive. but i'm sitting here and i can feel my uterus tighten up and then relax! it feels like a braxton hicks contraction. all day i could feel my uterus spasm, and now it keeps getting so tight that it hurts! is this something to be concerned about?

Some women(like myself) get this when you ovulate. You probably are not pregnant, but if you have had unprotected sex, you should get tested.

Just your body reminding you, YOU ARE WOMAN!!

If they aren't painful and aren't regular- they are braxton hicks. The numbness you suffer from doesn't mean that you won't feel labor. You uterus covers the whole of your stomach from just under your breast right the way down to above you ******** and around to your back. So you will feel pain when your in labor- you may have a bit of numbness in the area you already do but the rest of it you will feel. When you do go into labor- you will definitely feel pain. Discuss it with your doctor at your next appt.

Don't worry, it's always related to ovulation, stressful conditions.I do recommend to go to doctor for reassurance only..
