I have a Painted Turtle and a Red Eared Slider. I Also have a 30G Tank, Filter, Basking area with Heating lamp and there fed plants, Crickets, Shrimp and Mealworms. Anything else I need to Know??

Clean the tank regularly, they don't like living in their own dirtiness, that includes any uneaten food and waste products. Turtles are a little smell but they need clean area to live.

There is a pellet food that you can feed them and they like. Also if you want to you can feed it feeder fish. My sister has had her red eared slider for 15 years or so, and he got soft shell a couple of years ago. It took a while but they got rid of it, Make sure you wash well after you handle it.

first- if you have a water heater you really dont need a basking light and that could create problems later... the food u have wont give them all the nutrients they need so look into getting some pellets for them... but the varried diet is good for them... other than that your fine... your tank is plenty big enough for them.. good luck
