I think you mean to say "who is best?"
when there's two things or people to compare, then say "better"
when there are more than two comparisons use "best"
I think Robinho is the best of all of them, not only because he's Brazilian but also because Pele singled him out and praised him. Pele's support is what got young Robinho into pro soccer and club teams including Real Madrid. He is a good player due to his hardworking attitude and virtue of patience.
The other players you noted are also promising youngsters. Only time will tell...

TO KOBESNUMBER8, listen u f*ck, if u don't like FOOTBALL (not soccer u moron), then dont answer the football questions or don't log into the football forum, and the guy under him, if ur not joking, then the same goes for u,stupid morons.
as for the question, C.Ronaldo is the best, but sergio ramos plays as a central defender not a forward, so i dont think u can compare him with the rest lol, but i think C.Ronaldo is the world's best plyaer at the moment.

Well since this is posted in the World Cup section, I am going to answer this by who did best in the World Cup.
I would take Lukas Podolski because he worked great with Klose in the World Cup. I believe Klose was first in goals and Podolski was tied for second in goals at the World Cup.
Fernando Torres got all of his goals in one game. Therefore, you can't say he had the best World Cup.
Christiano Ronaldo did horrible in the World Cup. He got all of his goals off of PKs.
My choice: Lukas Podolski

To jaundiced_eye: Did you seriously report someone for posting duplicate ?'s? I mean how much time to you waste reading a ? twice? I'm sure it wasn't life altering so just lighten up a little bit or maybe a lot.
Right now C. Ronaldo is the best out of those players.

all are different types of player talented and skilled in there own way..ifi they are all in the same team...they will make it difficult for any other team to win against them..forexample if we have podolski in the attacking and behind him we have Fernando Torres..which goalkeeper can stop these two players?? Cristiano Ronaldo as a winger Robinho goes to be a winger from the other side and sergio Ramos can stay in the midfield with the rest of the team...this team will be able to rip any body apart.!

cristiano ronaldo is the the most talented but needs to improve teamwork, which he has been doing so.
sergio ramos is an overrated player that doesn't belong in a real madrid uniform.
robinho is very good but can disappear at times.
fernando torres is a complete forward and out of the five, he is the one i would rather have on my team.
lukas? dont know who that is.
