At this point, I would offer a prospect and a draft pick for Mats Sundin. I believe he is a free agent at the end of the season. Either that or he has made noise about retiring at the end of the campaign. Keep in mind that this is not the Mats Sundin of ten years ago. Last season, the Carolina Hurricanes gave up three marginally talented prospects (or two, because Jesse Boulerice was nothing more than a fourth-liner) to the St. Louis Blues for Doug Weight, and I think Weight is in the same class of player as Sundin.

First of all, Habs don't want Sundin. Secondly, the Canadiens entire team is not up for grabs, Have you looked at the standings? But to answer your question I would trade Tucker with Sundin, it's time to rebuild your team.

Sundin has got to go... He is still a good player but he had to endure years of playing between 2 absolute pieces of garbage for the Leafs under Quinn and it's justl time for him to move on and the Leafs to rebuild. How about I'll be the GM of Atlanta (since they are desperate for a good center...) and offer defense prospect Braydon Coburn, some other decent prospect at C and my 1st round pick...?

The Habs offer: 1 bucket of pucks, 3 used sticks and and 5 half hour goaltending lessons from Huet for Raycroft, only condition being that someone teach Mats how to drive a Zamboni, after all we would like him to have at least one usefull on ice skill. Teaching him to sharpen skates will result in the addition of one used goalie stick to the offer.
