It really depends on what you are looking for. For example, if you have a dog, Ocean Beach might be the area for you because they have a Dog Beach.

Coronado is great for views of the San Diego Skyline.....La Jolla has spectacular scenery of the bluffs and ocean.....Pacific Beach has night life....etc.

There are many of passions to follow in San Diego and that hotelbye is the spot to begin discovers what San Diego needs to offer. In the San Diego holiday you'll stage external of your comfort zone and you'll examine new activities while you're here and you might only realize that finding a new search is definitely an adventure in itself. One of the areas must see from San Diego is Balboa Park. This park has around a 1400 acre and here you will find historic buildings, numerous museums, gardens, and natural space. The park was made for the Panama California Exhibition of 1915-1916. The commonplace architecture is Spanish-Mexican design, low stage structures that blend in with the natural surroundings. On the list of features of the park will be the Botanical Gardens and lily lake, the Museum of Man, the Museum of Natural History, the San Diego Museum of Art, and the famous San Diego Zoo. Even although you never go into a building the park is just a beautiful place.

Depends on what you are looking for.

If you want a nice family beach to take your kids then Coronado or La Jolla Shores is perfect, they both have nice flat beaches so the surf isn't too big for the kids and they don't allow alcohol like the other beaches so you don't have to put up with the drunk kids and partying people.

However, if you are looking for the party beach where you want to enjoy a few beers on the beach, remember no glass bottles on the beach, then Pacific Beach or Mission Beach are where you want to go. Plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance of Pacific beach also.

Ocean Beach offers a hippy type hangout with some smaller bars and restaurants and a lot of antique shops.

Depends on your age: if you're between 20-30 without kids, I'd say Pacific Beach/Ocean beach for the beach and nightlife. If you're 30 plus with kids I'd recommend Del Mar or La Jolla. My favorite is Del Mar because its easy to access (though parking can be hard) the sunsets are to die for and a local pizza joint is within walking distance on 15th street.

Coronado is the best beach place to stay (Hotel Del Coronado).

La Jolla is the best beach to hang out if you're wanting to do the touristy thing.

Ocean Beach is the place to go to see locals.
