Here is a question...why do people lie and deceive in a relationship. I mean why would someone do that? I don't understand little lies that eventually lead to bigger lies???? I don't know but i had to ask that question because its really bugging me. I am having a really hard day today i really am.

Sorry you're having a bad day. To be honest, sometimes those lies are to hide a part of a person that he/she fears that, if exposed, will kick off a chain of events that could leave him/her alone...it's difficult enough to be honest with ones self, but total honesty with others is sometimes down right daunting.

sounds like a rough day! hope tomorrow is better for you! The reason that I think people lie is because they don't want to hurt the other person.......you can cover up little things you do with the ever popular little white lies and then before you know it you are telling whoppers and making an *** out of yourself and you don't even realize it. I am not sure what you were lied to about but I hope that things work out for you.....you seem nice and I am sorry again about today.....remeber the words of Annie.....tomorrow is only a day away! I'm sorry you're having a rough day today. "Why do people lie and deceive in a relationship?" That's the question of the decade.
Let's see...could it be because they are...weak....or that they want their cake and eat it too, or both, or because they have no moral compass and make bad choices that hurt others?? Or because they don't want to come clean and risk losing the one they vowed to cherish til death do us part? Or maybe they're ashamed of what they did, or feel guilty, or maybe they don't have a conscience and are sorry they got caught? If someone close to you has lied to you and deceived you, that would explain why you're having a bad day. Tomorrow's another day. Trust your gut. Im me if you need to talk.

Some men, and women as well cannot be monogamous for whatever reason. It's not you. I was just watching Dr. Keith Ablow this morning and you would not believe what some of these spouses are putting their loved ones through. Endless lies, deceptions, etc. It is difficult to find an honest person these days.
They are out there, but few and far between. Sorry you're having a bad day. I hope things get better.

Some people don't know how to be honesty. They been hiding for so long that they don’t know who they are or how to truly care for someone. Some of these people can be helped, but it is a long process of discovery their inner person. Most of them rather ignore the truth and live in lies, because the truth is very ugly. Be careful. I'm sorry you're having an awful day.... Well, people are born to love, and destroy. For some reason, we hurt the people we most love. In other cases men are just DOGS! But, then again so are women. People in general are a*s Holes! People lie to better themselves. Plus, they are insecure of themselves so don't expect much from people like that. All women deserve to be treated with respect. its the human nature
for both men and women
when a relationship hit a point that you feel you cant connect(period)
they become desperate
so they have affairs, lie, decet.
like how words can rhyme
so can lies
what ever feels like its the next thing that will help them
its actually not
its just digging their hole more
idk
once they lie they continue
until they come out with it
its really stupid i know
but its now people are, they react to everything, they dont think first, they just do it
its a instinct that they were raised from
like if someone tempts you
you know its bad but its just too good to pass like chocolate cake
its looks so good
and no one will know right?
same with cheating, they keep it in, but it will come out in the end no matter what

Sorry you're having a bad day. Why do they lie? Could be fear, not wanting to hurt someone's feeling. There are a number of reasons for it. Now to ask a question of you, are you one to lie? Even a white lie? If so why, if you don't, congratulations.

Sometimes the truth hurts! Plain and simple. Is it right? No, but sometimes we make poor choices, and really good people get caught in the crossfire. Not much of an answer, I know, but it's the best I can offer!
