A jail inmate who made threats to kill President Bush because of the war in Iraq was sentenced Friday to 42 months in federal prison.
First off I think it is horrible to even think of any such thing....but you people obviously don't know this is not a joking matter. And IF you are serious..God help you.
And for the record the "impeach the president" is just as stupid. Just admit there is nothing anyone else would or could have done differently.

There are a lot of people in here who have said he should die. There were people who said he should be hung alongside Saddam, and who have made some other assertions that come dangerously close to being threats on the life of the President.
If you think that you have free speech in here, and that it allows you to say things like that, believe me, the Secret Service does not play. They will get your IP address and be knocking at your door.

There are many things people could have done differently. Maybe not go bombing innocent civillians just because the people that attacked us live close to it. How would you feel if a group of assasins from your hometown went and killed alot of people. And then you get bombed for it. He also could of listened to the soldiers that were actually there fighting. He also could not have kept giving tax cuts to the rich in a time of war when we need all the revenue thats possible. He also could not be so ignorant of his progress and not lie to the american people. He also could of known what the **** he was doing running for president. I like bush as a guy he seems like a nice man. But as a president he is one of the worst i think this country will ever have.

You clearly have no idea what you are talking about do you. Do you know anything about the parties and the political spectrum? Do you know what the term neo conservatism means? Do you know the true reason why the US is at war? This is a starting point for you to research. We would not be in this Iraq mess if Clinton was in power, that's a promise and a fact. Same with Gore who actually did win the election and had the popular vote. That is why its important to vote and more importantly to be an informed voter. (these boards are so frustrating)

For starters he should have gone after Bin Laden, not Saddam, and we shouldn't be fighting in Iraq. Iraq DID NOT attack us.

How can u compare "killing" to "impeaching?" Seems as if you're saying that a person could be sentenced to prison for suggesting "impeaching" the President? America is not the same since that Bushdayafternoon stole the oval office back in 2000.

I guess that guy. As far as admitting that there is nothing anyone else could have done differently, no thanks, there are a hundreds of things that could have been done differently and better before the invasion, during the invasion and after the invasion -- but that is a concept I don't think you could grasp.
