If women have all the power in this world, there will clearly be less violence and less horrible problems.

However, would women fight with each other like men to become the president? Would they start developing male like characteristics?

Is their any danger in ruling and leading by emotion and empathy rather than by logic?

I look at Queen Elizabeth history in England and when she ruled one of the most powerful countries during the time, she was very mean to others, did not show much mercy for others and yes she had naval battled against the Spanish or the French, so to say that women will make more peace if they are leaders I have to disagree. Also Cleopatra was another leader and she still have to confront with battles as well. Male or female leadership can be equal, the decisions are the same, the decision is depended on the mind of the leader. I always thought that if Hilary Clinton was President; I feel that she would be like Queen Elizabeth, I'm pretty sure of it.

I would say the powerful women in congress at the moment don't really exhibit the common characteristics people usually consider as feminine. I mean would you consider Hillary Clinton or Condi Rice as leading by emotion or empathy?? lol Thats pretty laughable. I think the old gender roles should definitely be tossed out the window. I think power tends to (most of the time) bring the worst out in people, men and women alike.

uhgg, There are way too many cans of worms opened with this question.

First of all, Women are by nature more emotional and more empathatic. But, if they were they leaders of the world, and such the roles would therefore be completely reversed. Thus in your scenerio (sp?) men would be the nurturers, and the care givers. Sooo it would just be the same as now.

lol As a woman I thing that the danger is rather greater in ruling by emotion. Most of us women get Cranky when PMSing, some of us cry for no unknown reasons even to the one crying lol. I would say that the world would become a much unstable place to live. Nurtured but unstable.

Not every woman is ruled by emotion and empathy. Some of us have a load of logic thrown in there as well. I think it would depend entirely upon the woman herself. We are all different.

Check your history. Women have ruled before. Wars have been instigated during their rules. Other atrocities have been invoked during their rules. Women have encouraged men to fight on their behalf and have been the motivator urging men on to other actions. Deception, manipulation, greed, pettiness and selfishness are feminine traits, too. That women are simply kind and loving beings is propaganda.

Look at Hillary Clinton. She has already answered all your questions with frightening clarity. Unfortunately, the answers to your questions are:

Yes, just ask Vince Foster's widow. Yes, they start to look like men, sort of...

Yes, operating without logic is a basic skill set for women.

Male dogs root from the back to kill their prey. Female dogs go for the throat and rip it out for a quicker kill. If that is any indication of less violence and less horrible problems.

yes. it is called feminization, and coming from a girl, it is bad. God amde men to have the headship, both in the family, and in the wotld. the worle would be terrible without women, though. we have the babies, and cook for the men, and tale care of the family, while the father is away.
