What's a good teen magazine. I've been subscribed to Teen People for a while and I'm a bit sick of it. I don't want anything with too many ads. Something that has a bit of everything. Entertaiment, World news, fashion, guys.. etc..

Okay...I read TONS of magazines, so I'll give you my point of view...I hope it helps. :D

I used to read Teen People when it was around,(I honestly thought they stopped printing them? I know they have their online thing, but that's about it isn't it?) It was okay..but it was more of a bunch of celeb pictures with stupid captions and silly quizzes that were too simple. No real articles that I can say of or variety.

My favorite teen magazine by far is Teen Vogue. You say you don't want too many adds, and while this one might have a lot, you'll atleast enjoy looking at the ads and they won't bother you(hopefully). I love it because it has fashion and good, well-written articles with USEFUL information. They're not some stupid slapstick written things that someone put together in a little bit. It doesn't have too much about boys...but it has nifty little reviews on books and music as well as upcoming talent. Some people don't like Tenn Vogue because they say the price tags on the clothing are simply outragious, and they are right to some degree. However, the magazine is supposed to show whats at the top of fashion, not how to save(even though it has a DIY sections which is kind of cool.) If you want to see how you can look cute and save too...go somewhere else...

which brings me to my next point... Seventeen Magazine. Its pretty good, I like it. It has some nice articles and it shows you many different ways to look cute and still save money. It also has information on guys and sex and relationships. So its a nice teen magazine, and the next best one out there so its definetly worth checking out. I love it.

If you're a bit younger, you might want to check out CosmoGirl. Its cute, colorful, and has nifty info. It's been a while since I checked it out really, but I use to read it a lot when I was younger. If it hasn't changed much, what I can tell you is that it doesn't have hard-core articles, but its a good teen magazine. Hey, the editor of Seventeen came from CosmoGirl. But this one might be worth checking out too.

Umm...as far as teen magazines, those are the only ones that stick out really. I read more young women's magazines now, like Elle, Cosmopolitan, Vogue, Lucky, etc etc. But I won't go into those. The rest of the other teen magazines that I've seen out there are pretty bad and are mostly pictures that seem to have just been stuck together trying to cram as many celebs as they could in one page..Ellegirl was nice when it was around, but I think I read about them publishing their last issue, so they might be out of bussiness.

Hope this helps. If you need anything else, let me know. :D
Good luck on your search.

Newsweek, Time, maybe some other general-interest magazine. The New Yorker is also good, if you REALLY love reading. even if there is some heavy stuff in the former, there's sure to be something you'd find interesting. If you want less adds, gorgeous pictures, and good writing, the only way to go is National Geographic.

Please forgive my bad vibes, but I find "teen interest" magazines to be stereotyped, biased, targeted and depressingly shallow. They are really all about trying to "sell" you things you do not want or need, and that will not make you happier. They are also not big on good or accurate authorship. Of course if you don't agree with my opinion, then please disregard this paragraph.

Better yet, save your money and buy something really usefull.

I've found a good place to try out magazines is at the library. Try looking over the ones they have there a few times and see which mags best fit what you're looking for in a magazine. It's so much better than subscribing to something and later finding that you don't really like it.

Seventeen!

i love their mags, they show in in every issue new ways to get guys & how to try new make up!

they give you at least 3 major stories that at pretty deep & real. & threw out the issue you see even more stories! some are from adverage joes, & some are from celebs!

they also have CLOTHESSS tons & tons of clothes that are really afforable, showing you where you can buy them & how much they cost (most of the time its from stores in your local mall)

they also have a huge varity of models, one for EVERY body type, from curvy tummy to flat booty, & they tell you what looks flattering for your features.

there's never any blown up crazy party girl on the cover. they'll have down to earth stars on the cover most of the time :)

Seveteen has cool contest that let you win celebs stuff, & somthing for every day of the month, & they give you a varaity of tips on how to be healthy & do good in school.

ah its just great! i highly recomend you getting that.

teen people is a bunch of young stars & what there currently doing with there lives.

ive never ever been unhappy with one of there magazines.

TeenVogue is great (I read it until I was 21) and ElleGirl is probably great b/c I love Elle. Seventeen seems to always have interesting things on their covers. And I think their's a teenCosmo as well.

You can read those and then when you feel you've outgrown them you can read their older counterparts.
