heck it's a government job. They don't care where the degree came from, just that you have one.

Any state accredited University should be recognized by employers, Federal or otherwise. The only ones to avoid are the "mail order" ones that promise you a degree for little work and a big fee.
Some companies go after the bogus degree people by charging them the cost of hiring, background investigation, etc. So, do go reputable when you get educated.
I worked in Municipal Govt. for 21 years and never heard of anyone not having a degree recognized. What the degree is in of course is more important than where it is from.
Your GPA is also a help or a hinderance, but some employers look at the person, and don't care as long as you have that diploma.

I would say it truly depends on the type of government job you are seeking. There a so many jobs within the government, both federal and state government. I know in my state (Missouri) not all government jobs require a college degree. Your best bet would be to research the job you want on the government website and see what the actual requirements are for the job you are interested in. As far as the college question is concerned, as long as it is an accredited college, it should not matter. If it is not, it may be hard for you to find any job with a degree from there. Hope this helps and I wish you all the best.

You need to find out if the college is accredited, that's all that matters. A degree from one state is recognized in other states.

Could you please type correctly because no one is going to give you a government job if you can't type properly. But any college degree, as long as it's real, is recognized by people, the governemtn included. Degrees are degrees, they transfer from state to state, and believe it or not, they acutally mean something to the people who know about it.

The rest of what you said is sorta confusing, but to answer your question...........YES, if the college is accredited, and your degree meets the jobs qualifications, you could be eligible for more than one job (provided you meet any other qualifications they may have).

Accreditation is the key. Ask the school if they are accredited and recognized by the federal govt. Then you can work anywhere. Best of luck.
