I dont always have my mouth open, but I tend to do it because it makes me eyes open wider ([ersonally it does for me) so I can get every single lash.

I can put on mascara with my mouth closed. But it does seem like most women always have their mouths open when they put on mascara. Kinda funny to watch

some women put their mascara on with their mouths open cause it helps open up their eyes More and helps concentration. I put mine on with my mouth closed so don't believe everything you hear

I positioned mine on with my mouth closed. yet you open your mouth so as that way you do no longer blink and get the mascara throughout your face, that's a discomfort. yet then too it kinda opens the attention somewhat greater for some human beings so they are in a position to cover each and every little lash. wish this facilitates you out! :-)

Personally, I put mine on with my mouth closed. But when you open your mouth, it's easier for your eyes to get wider. And some women rest their hand on their cheek when applying.

when you open your mouth you flex muscles on your face that contract and lower your forhead helping you to focus on your eye area. Also when your mouth is open you can open your eyes wider to better see what you are doing. If you think I am making it up look in a mirror and try to do it with your mouth closed then with your mouth open

seems that by opening their mouth it tends to pull or stretch the cheek and lower eye area down, therefore the mascara will not get on their face

Well most women, when they put on mascara, they have to lift their eyebrows, and when youre looking up and have your eybrows up, its just easier to open your mouth.
