When I send a txt message sometimes they are delivered immediatley and other times they take 20+ minutes. Why is this?

(Mind you I am sending to a person with the same cell phone service provider)

Is something wrong with my phone?

This is a problem with the Short Message Centre (SMSC) in your network. There is nothing wrong with your phone as the submission to the SMSC would time out if it took more than about 20 seconds.

The SMSC should attempt to deliver the message straight away. If this fails (because the destination phone is out of coverage say), it will try again when it is in coverage. Contact your service provider and complain.

What brand and model phone do you have? If it's NOKIA you may be able to download a SMS Accelerator form the nokia website. It could also be a network problem. Has it always been like this or it happened recently?

OMG!!!!!! Ever heard of digital mail?? Yeah... that's top.... the previous-formed thank you to speak... by applying writing to a minimum of one yet another. that's the comparable factor as texting, in spite of the shown fact that it is not on the spot. you do no longer desire on the spot.

No, you might be in a bad coverage area, that delays things sometimes.
