Robertson said God told him during a recent prayer retreat that major cities and possibly millions of people will be affected by the attack, which should take place sometime after September.

He said God came to him in a dream and told him sometime around the end of the year there would be an attack on American soil that would possibly kill millions of people. He has been wrong before. Many Evangelist are distancing themselves from him at this point. I am not the one to judge, I feel like we all are well aware of world events and know the outcome will get worse before it gets better. Who are we to say if God spoke to him or not.

Look, in this day and age, that next major terrorist attack here may just be a heartbeat away. It is a tribute to our security agencies that there hasn't been any since 9/11...unfortunately, eventually there will be another terrorist incident here. So for anyone to predict that a major terrrorist attack is coming would be the same as a TV weatherman saying there's a chance of rain day after day after day....sooner or later he'll be right.

I think God winces and shakes His head everytime Pat Robertson opens his mouth. Robertson is an overblown, pompous, arrogant, holier-than-thou, bag of fertilizer.

He is a citizen of the United States. He can say anything he wants as long as he does not promote the overthrow of our government. Some could argue that he is making a suggestion close to it but only he would know that. Also, even with God whispering in his ear (soul) others could site that even predicting a major terrorist attack, such as after September, could be construed as a lead up to a terrorist attack on his part. If we are all God's children, I'm not sure you and I got that same information. I know I sure didn't. I just don't want him to place himself in such a light that others would consider him as a domestic enemy of the state by spreading pandemonium.

Anything is possible no matter who says it. If you or I could have also said it on national TV on the same day as he did, wouldn't we have just as much of a chance of getting it right (or wrong) as he is going too, if we are all equal under the law.

It might. Even in 2006 a man stormed into Jews organization in Seattle and shot several women because he was angry about Israel incursion into Lebanon during 2006 summer. Appearant random acts like that can be considered terrorism. You dont have be a prophet to say something like that will happen. If there isn't something in 2007 there wiil be either 'terror plot' that is stoped or other events Pat can use to say 'see I was partially right.' Nothing to lose for Pat. Either something big might happen or if it doesn't he'll find something to point and link to his prophecy. He's old, kind of losing it, his close friends need to tell him when he says stupid stuff instead of just sucking up to him.

This clown should work for Bush, Our God does not meddle in world affairs. Jesus told us that he was no part of this world and that we should not be part of this world also, and he came to do the will of God. This guy is looking for a cheap shot at fame, one of the downfalls of mankind, and one of Satan's best weapons. If something does happen he will be the big talk in this town, but if nothing happens, then he will have to wear the clown hat, again, he has made other predictions that never did come true. ....KECK

that's ridiculous...since the beginning of time people have been saying sh!t like that just to get everyone rowled up and ready to go. just because pat robertson said it means it's true right!!??

get a life if you believe anything like that.

remember, predictions like this also included:

the world ending in the year 2000 (y2k)
aliens invading the earth
all kinds of stuff....

don't let your mind be a useless sponge. please.

I'd believe George Bush before I'd believe Pat Robertson and neither is likely to happen anytime soon!

He says lots of crap. And I do mean crap. If God had a hotline to anyone, why would it be that hateful little man? It's best to ignore him. Maybe then he'll go away.
